Just got this rod yesterday to use for light neds, dropshot, and mojo rigs. Had to test it out so hit up a pond on the way to work this AM. Only caught 3 dinks but I could tell the difference in sensitivity over the Fury 702 I have been using. Was a little worried it would be too light powered, but once it hit the backbone, there was plenty of power. Casting 1/16 oz. mojo with a TRD and size 1 EWG was effortless w/ 10 lb. braid even into the wind. Great rod for light finesse as advertised. As always great service from Dobyns as well, ordered Sunday and arrived on Thursday.

I have two of these from the prototype series. I mainly use a drop shot*, neko* and ned* on them. Both have 10 lb braid and 7 lb Sniper leaders. It took very little time to realize two things I love about the 1 power versus the 2 power rods. Using the 2 power rods, I noticed how many fish will make that quick little burst and the hook pulls out. With the 1 power not only does that not happen, it allows me to use MUCH more drag because the rod is so forgiving. Enough that it takes close to 3 lb bass to run any drag. Great fun. * Drop shot 1/4 oz with a NetBait Finesse worm, Neko 1/8 oz Dobyns weight with a NetBait T-mac, Ned 3/16 or 1/4 oz TRD.
