Bought this primarily to throw top water walking baits. I paired it with a 2020 Tatula SV 8.1 reel. Running 12 lbs Fluoro. Getting into the kadence (intended) is so easy, just walks baits perfectly.
Definitely excited to see how it does running silent baits for cranking and the bandits.

This rod filled a need I had for wiggle warts,rock crawler type rod perfectly! I have a YouTube video up with a bunch of Dobyns rods bending them up and explaining what I use them for,like many say the rods have there techniques on them but they’re so much more then technique specific rods!! Great small crankbait rod for sure!!!

Purchased for small swimbaits for smallmouth. Setup is 8lb flouro, 3/16-3/8 jig with 1/0 hook and 3″ spark shad. Works great!
