The No Hassle Replacement Policy allows for a quick turnaround of any broken rod that is not a defect. Please cut the 6 to 8 inch section from the rod that contains the Dobyns Rods logo and model number. Place the section into a padded envelope along with your shipping address, telephone number, name and form of payment (check / money order) or ask to call for payment on your included note. Please ship the padded envelope to 100 CMH Sulphur Springs TX, 75482.

If you believe your rod is defective, please ship the entire rod to Dobyns Rods and include a note with your contact information (name, phone number and return shipping address). A shipping label is available for purchase at the bottom of the warranty screen. Upon receipt, we will inspect your rod and contact you regarding our findings.

You only need to purchase a shipping label if you are shipping an entire rod back to Dobyns rods for an inspection. Do not purchase shipping label on the website for a no hassle replacement.

Your shipping label will arrive to you via an email from FedEx. Your shipping label will not come from Dobyns Rods. Be sure and allow enough time for FedEx to process your label for you. Labels purchased after 4:30 pm CST will be sent on Monday morning. Please make sure you check your junk folders in your email if you cannot find your label. If you still do not see your label within 24 hours, please contact Dobyns Rods by phone at 903-919-8028 or by email to info@dobynsrods.com for assistance.

Dobyns Rods retailers are encouraged to participate in the No Hassle Replacement Policy, however, it is at their own discretion. Please contact your local dealer for confirmation of their participation in the warranty program. If you believe your rod has a defect, you must ship your rod to Dobyns Rods for an inspection. A retailer cannot provide an inspection or replace your rod for free.

Dobyns reels are covered by a Limited 1 Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Dobyns will repair or replace your reel if a defect is found in workmanship or materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited to the original owner. If the damage is found to not be a defect in workmanship or material (missing parts, misuse either accidental or intentional, improper care or normal wear and tear), you will be contacted with a quote for the repair/replacement before repairs are started. Please present your sales receipt or proof of purchase when making your warranty claim.

Yes, you can! Under the warranty program, you will pay the warranty fee + Shipping + the difference in retail price that is listed on the Dobyns Rods website.

Yes, you can! Please go to the warranty tab at the top right corner of dobynsrods.com and scroll to the bottom of the page and review the section “Upgrade a non-Broken Rod.”

A true value cannot be placed on your rod until it is received and assessed by Dobyns Rods. Once the rod is inspected, a customer sales representative will contact you with the quote. The value of your trade in is based on the condition of the rod, typically will be 60% to 80% of retail value. (If the rod was purchased at retail value).

As long as the item is in stock and shipping within the USA, the standard shipping time is between 2 and 5 days depending on USPS or FedEX. Shipments to all other countries are dependent on the length of time it takes to clear customs, we can provide an estimate of time only.

Guide repairs on all rods, with exception of Xtasy series, are free of charge. You will only be responsible for shipping cost.

One guide is provided free of charge, except guides for the Xtasy Series. If you need more than one guide, please contact us for a quote. Xtasy guides are replaced for $20 per guide. Please call 903-919-8028 or email info@dobynsrods.com and speak to one of our customer service representatives about getting your guide replaced. Please include your name, shipping address and which specific guide you need for your replacement.

There is no warranty for a lost, missing or stolen rod. The rod blank itself acts as the warranty and without the logo section of the blank, the warranty is voided.
