I love this rod. Really really love this rod. I use it exclusively for spinner baits in the 3/8 to 5/8 range but yesterday, I tied on a 1/4 oz finesse spinner bait with 3” paddle tail (little 2/0 hook) because it was the only rod I had with me (fishing on a buddy’s boat). About an hour before calling it a day, I snagged on a log that turned out to be a beautiful thicc absolutely gorgeous and rather angry 8lb pre-spawn large head. This rod is the only reason I got her in the boat. The 7’ 4” length gave me the distance to cast the light spinnerbait into the wind and the blank loaded perfectly and kept the fish pinned. During all the wallowing, thrashing, head shakes and final dive under the boat, the rod kept her pinned and out of the p poles while not bending out that stupid tiny hook.
TLDR version:
If you want a spinner bait rod for sub 3/4oz, get this one. 100%. Whatever your budget, this is the right one.

This has become my new Swimjig and I cant say enough good things about it! Bryce recommended me this rod and he was spot on with this one! great tip for throwing 3/8oz AND 1/4oz swim jigs and just enough power to make clearing the bait easy. If your looking for a bit nice Swimjig rod but dont want to spend that higher end rod money this rod feels just as good as my champions! Its also a great spinnerbait and chatterbait rod pretty much anything moving!

This rod is awesome. Paired with a Shimano 70 SLX DC this rod is not only super light, it is fantastic for pitching senkos and throwing spinnerbaits. Would be excellent for spooks, poppers as well as light jigs. Very happy with my purchase!!

I love this rod for 1/8–1/4oz Texas rigs. Boat flips 3-4 pounders no problem!

Got this rod under Bryce’s (sp?) recommendation for finesse jigs and tubes 1/4-3/8oz. Awesome rod!
