Patrick Bone –
This rod can do it all. I use the 705 for anything that involves power fishing in shallow water. I throw square bills, and spinnerbaits on this rod and if you throw bladed jigs this is the rod for you.
Evan Howard –
I bought his rod for the sole purpose of fishing super flukes and magnum flukes. It performs equally well with standard size flukes for black bass and magnum flukes for big striped bass. The 705 is fast handling, has a lively tip, and a ton of backbone. It will bomb standard sized flukes as well as put the screws to large fish.
Kenneth Shaw –
This is a fantastic frog rod! Flip, pitch, crank, and more. Made for heavy hitters to haul in big momma. Plenty of power and ready for combat. Don’t leave home without it!

Mike –
I use this rod primarily for heavier football heads fished deeper, wobble head type jigs and plastics, and flippin’ tubes around sparser cover. It is easy to fish all day, sensitive and powerful. I also like the 704 when using lighter line and fishing lighter open hooks, but the 705 can get the hook through the plastics.
Todd Hancock –
This 705 is absolute money. I use it primarily when frog fishing for bass in the grass and ‘walking that dog’ with topwater lures for stripers. It is crazy lightweight and has a strong back bone that will turn the bigger topwater lures on a dime. It will yank the big girls right up and will be your favorite rod, like it is mine.
