This Rod is everything you want for Jigs and Flipping a 1/2 weight in heavy cover. Great back bone and power to drive that big hook home and get those fish turned. I have mine with 20 pound fluro all the time. Its also in a pinch a solid 6 inch mag draft rod and spoon rod 5 inch

If you are on the fence about this rod, stop what you are doing and buy it. The DC 744C has the perfect mix of balance, sensitivity, and power for Jig / Texas Rig fishing. I am highly satisfied with all my Champion XP rods and this one is my favorite.

My favorite jig rod i own. I throw a lot of 5/16 – 1/2oz finesse jigs and this rod is absolute perfection. Excels at throwing Texas rigs too but i almost always have a jig tied on. Love the action of this rod and has plenty of power! Feels like a 4 1/2 power. If you’re on the fence don’t hesitate!

Have fished jigs for over 40 years and have never had a rod that felt and delivered like this. In the first two months have boated 5 fish over 4 on this rod, the biggest 6+. Flat allows you to control the fish and swing them with no problem. Hands down this is the best JIG ROD I have ever fished!!!!
