I am a light tackle junkie and I like this rod a lot. It’s nice to have a well designed handle grip that supports my entire hand, compared to other shorter grips where the heel of your palm is hanging over the edge of the cork - this has nicest grip available (Sierra ultra finesse casting also does), good diameter, the grip on many other spinning rod brands in general are too skinny and too short....

I bought this rod thinking it was a “light” rod. It’s more of a medium than light. Its very published weight range is 1/32-5/16 oz but in reality it’s more like 1/8-1/2 oz. It’s not a true light powered rod.

This rod should be rated down to 2lb test. Handles all my trout and panfish needs but stout enough for finesse bass techniques too. Can toss 1/32 and 1/16 oz mini jigs like a champ!!!

Got the rod yesterday. Immediately put a Daiwa Exceller LT 1000 and some 6lb line. Caught a 13-14 inch bass 20-25 bluegill And a 2 surprise 4-5 lb channel cats while bluegill fishing. I didn’t question the rods ability once to handle these larger fish. It did it with ease. The rod did exactly what it’s suppose to do. My buddy was using Shakespeare ugly stick and only caught 1 dinky bluegill c...

Not happy at all with build style. Spinning Rod reel seat in my hand ??? Trying to save money on cork?? Who's terrible idea ,a person who has never used a Spinning reel, was it to hold on to the locking nut when fishing...if I could get my money back I would. Most uncomfortable in the hand rod ever. Score 2. Weight, guides.an action are excellent.

If you like casting to crappie or bass, this rod is excellent in that regard. I have mine paired with a Vanford C200S and its a balanced, super light weight combo. I can hold this rod all day long and feels excellent in the hand. 6'7" is the perfect length for making a 40-50ft. whipping cast out to that brushpile or even further with an 1/8th ounce jig. Ive caught a 7lb. bass with t...

Fantastic rod!! So versatile for light line finesse applications. Was throwing a 1/16oz jig head with a 3" gulp minnow catching crappie, bluegill, rock bass, pike, perch and largemouth bass. Paired with a 2500 size Shimano reel and 8lb braid this rod launched the bait. It's super sensitive, light tip gets into decent backbone when considering it's a panfish rod and because it's...

As a guide in Northern Minnesota I need solid equipment that I can rely on everyday. This rod is it, and is my go-to rod for working Crappie and slip-bobbering Walleye. I use this rod to pitch light jigs, slip bobber, and cast light weight spinners/beetle spins. This rod has enough back bone to bury the hook in a 7lb Walleye and enough parabolic action to keep both Walleye and Crappies "pe...

I’d rate this as the ultimate micro jig and micro float rod and I’ve tried them all. The micro oscillations in the solid tip are amazing and felt through the butt section! I have the 7ft for the kayak but this is the size you want for cast-ability of 1/32 oz jigs from the bank or in streams. Solid through the mid to butt sections so doesn’t feel like a noodle. May purchase the 7’9 as well for ...
