All GSM Outdoor products have a warranty that covers manufacture defects of the product. Like most industries, our warranty is valid only for the original owner of the product purchased from an authorized retailer. Please refer to your individual product for specific warranty time frames. Below are the general warranty times for all of GSM Outdoor products. At GSM Outdoors, our customers are our number one priority and we want them to know we stand proudly behind every item bearing our name. Tampering with or altering the unit will void the warranty. Any unauthorized service will void the warranty. Original sales receipt must be produced for any warranty service and a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained from customer service at 877-269-8490 prior to returning the product.

Last week my son and I went with a guide for a springtime bass trip in Texas. The guide suggested we use his spinning equipment for our trip. He pulled out a handful of Dobyns SSMs with Vanford reels. Voodoo magic in your hand! The rod is well balanced, has excellent backbone and a nice, fast tip. Often overlooked, the savvy series is a great series of rods. the 702 sf (micro or regular) is a great rod for draggin 1/8- 1/4 tubes. Also for lighter cranking duties (shad rap 5, small balsa cranks, etc) is where it really shines...
I absolutely love this rod and think we Dobyns should offer micro guides on the champion series also. I see considerable gain in distance in my casts even with a light weight shaky head. Can cast so far it's almost too far. lol. Super sensitive rod I absolutely love!!

Setting the hook feels smooth and easy... it feels like you are in perfect control the entire time... from the cast through boating the fish. We fished swimbaits on lighter line and felt more in control than ever. I was a little concerned about the micro sized guides, but they were smooth and easy, gave us NO issues at all. I am a convert. I returned from our trip, got online and bought a few SSM's. Your mileage may vary, but I doubt it. I had the chance to actually use one of the best set ups I could imagine. Now, I own several of that exact set up.",
