Product Description

The Dobyns Sierra Series Spinning Rods are engineered with a deep focus on material quality, this series bridges the gap between everyday utility and tournament-grade capability. Each rod in the lineup is built around a specialized high-modulus graphite blank, ensuring a lightweight feel in the hand while offering a highly responsive, crisp action. By building every rod explicitly on its structural spine, Dobyns ensures optimal durability, uniform load distribution under pressure, and a direct line of feedback from the lure to the angler's hand.

FEATURES:

  • High modulus graphite blanks
  • Fuji Alconite guides
  • Fuji reel seats
  • Kevlar wrapping

Great rod for the value. It is my first Dobyns rod, and for someone who is coming from Shimano Expride and Poison Adrena rods, I didn't expect such a lightweight and sensitive rod at this price range. I was expecting a stiff rod, but the Heavy frog rod was much better than I expected.

I’ve owned my Sierra 703 sf for 6+ years now. I put a Nasci 3000 on it w braid to leader and it’s always in the batch of rods that go with me when I go out fishing. It’s a little dynamo and quite versatile with different baits through the years.

I’ve put this through the Florida Swamps & up north against LM/SM & it’s great. On 15/20LB braid to leader, it has great bone, loads up more through the blank but great and quick hooksets. Great for Weightless worms, wacky, flukes, etc. Love it. With more 4 power spinning rods were available.

Easily my favorite budget do it all spinning rod. I mainly use mine for Dropshotting its perfect length to cast around docks and pitch a dropshot into tight places. Also its a great heavier shakey head rod and of course a T Rigged Senko rod! If you a co angler like me and want a solid rod that can take some beating this is the rod for you!

The Sierra 693 sf Is a versatile spinning rod at a great price. It is a great rod for finesse moving baits and single hook presentations. I use it mainly for small crankbaits /balsa flat sides, jerk baits, single swim baits like keitechs with 1/8-3/8 weights, underspins, etc. It also works well for floating worms or other texas rigged soft plastics fished with a moving presentation. I pre...

This is my go to rod for vertically jigging, Lindy-rigging (bass world would call this a Carolina Rig), and pulling spinners for Walleyes. This rod does the majority of my guide work in Northern Minnesota. This rod has proven itself durable as it has withstood routine daily use from clients, it's sensative enough for a novice fisherman to detect/understand the bite, and has been a great as...
