Warranty Info

All GSM Outdoor products have a warranty that covers manufacture defects of the product. Like most industries, our warranty is valid only for the original owner of the product purchased from an authorized retailer. Please refer to your individual product for specific warranty time frames. Below are the general warranty times for all of GSM Outdoor products. At GSM Outdoors, our customers are our number one priority and we want them to know we stand proudly behind every item bearing our name. Tampering with or altering the unit will void the warranty. Any unauthorized service will void the warranty. Original sales receipt must be produced for any warranty service and a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained from customer service at 877-269-8490 prior to returning the product.

I want to preface by saying I am a power fisherman and live in Texas. I fish the cheese, I fish backwoods swamps, and flooded timber. Very impressive rod for the money! As the other reviewers have stated, the 702 has enough backbone to land a giant, but a soft enough tip to feel the lightest of bites. Landed 3 25”+ salmon that took my bait while dropshotting for smallmouth in Michigan this year, handled it like a champ! Picked up a Fury series 703SF today and I’ve gotta say...these rods are quality! I use spinning rods for drop shots, under spins and smaller spinnerbaits. I snapped my originall drop shot rod (different brand) at the tip and was looking into rods. Well I had the 733c furry also and loved it so decided to test this rod out. Now I know it isn’t the “dropshot” rod but I was used to a stiffer back bone with fast tip and this fit the bill better.
