I’ve used multiple rods for drop shotting over the years from various manufacturers. They’ve all worked, but I always felt like there was something better. I used the Champion 762SF for quite a while and it was also great, but a little long. What I like about the 741 is the load and sensitivity. You can feel everything and it has a really slow load, which is perfect for making sure you don’t reel-set too hard or too early. You feel the bite, slowly raise up and start winding and their pinned every time!
