This is my goto dropshot rod. Casts far and fishes any depth with ease. Sensitive enough to feel everything and strong enough to set a hook securely. I’ve also used it for Texas rig with various plastics. I have a lot of Dobyn’s rods, but this is my favorite.

Im slowly replacing all of my rods with Dobyns. This is my 4th. 733SF can do it all. I paired it with a Shimano Stadic 2500 HG. T-Rig, drop shot… It is the $#!÷ Sensitivity and strength. Perfection!

I just got back from a trip to Ontario. This rod was my main workhorse. I threw crankbaits, 1/4 oz underspin with 4 in paddle tail swimbaits and tubes. Our guide took us out for walleye one morning and he picked up the Dobyns and said NICE!! He then paired it with a light bottom bounce and crawler harness and proceeded to pound Walleye’s at 23ft. I was shocked at how perfect the rod was for that setup. Was cranking for smallmouth back in a weed bay and pulled in a 34in Northern on the rod. This rod has an insane range of use and has been fantastic.

Absolutely incredible rod for jigging. Used it for the first time this past weekend and caught a ton of smallies. Incredibly sensitive and comfortable. Could feel every one, even the slightest taps. Don’t think I lost one once hooked. All cork handle was super comfortable. Will definitely be expanding my ownership of this brand!

The Dc733sf is an awesome rod. One of if not my favorite spinning rods I’ve ever used. Jeff hit the nail on the head, this thing is very sensitive, and extremely versatile. I can effectively fish so many different baits on this rod, to name a couple; blade baits, bigger drop shots, weedless rigged drop shots, shakey heads, tubes, finesse swimbaits, small crankbaits, damiki, weightless senko, wacky rig, darter, hover rig and more. Super soft tip section leading into pretty strong backbone that hits about 1/3 into the blank. This rod loads up pretty deep into the blank which almost makes it hard to lose fish on this rod.. a very special rod that will always have a place in my boat.

Love this rod the main baits I throw on it is wacky rigs and small poppers and spook JR
Can cast a small spook far at schooling fish has the back bone to pull out wacky rig fish out of docks and lay downs pairs well with a 3000 size spinning reel

This rod is an exceptional rod for tubes up to 3/8 oz heads. Would make a good dropshot rod too. Has some tip, but leads into some nice backbone 1/3 way down. Keeps them smallies hooked once they are on! Very sensitive, probably because of Dobyns using the the last version of the Champion DX 743sf blank for this model. I own 2 of these, and love’em!
