Justin –
Perfect rod for those Squarebill jr’s. I use more for jerkbaits and poppers. A 7 footer is too long. I feel like this would be a fine rod for larger squarebills. Traps are thrown on my 733.

This is a awsome rod if your a river fisherman. It casts great in and around trees and bushes. Works great for small cranbaits as well as it’s my go to RIO RICO/ POP R rod. When a fish gets the bait the action is perfect and they have a heck of a time trying to throw those treble hooks. It also works well with jerkbaits.
Kind of a do everything treble hook bait rod.
