I just got my Maverick 7.2-1 Blue today and it made me feel real stupid. This reel is very smooth. I can’t find any issues with the thing and at the price it was purchased with you can understand why I feel stupid right about now. I have expensive reels and can’t say they are any better than this reel. Gary hit a home run with these. If you’re thinking about getting one of these but are doubtful due to the low price, don’t be. I will definitely be buying more….

I bought this reel 4 weeks ago and I can’t say there is anything bad about this reel. It’s very smooth and cast a country mile. Handles fish very well. I have it paired with a 735 c champion I really love this combo. I am going to replace all my lees super duty reels with these
