I bought this travel rod because I got tired of going on trips to Florida and not having a rod to fish the many retention ponds/tanks. Used it this summer and it worked great. It’s definitely not kept in the rod case. It’s a part of my everyday arsenal of rods. I also just bought the KTR 713 casting model and can’t wait to get it in to try out. Again, it will not be kept in the case. Everyday arsenal.
