More versatile than most will think. Yes it is great for heavy flipping and mat punching but it is also good at flipping light baits in heavy cover. I’ve used it to flip little 1/8oz bubba shots into lay downs. Just won a tournament flipping a little 3/16oz Texas rigged 4″ worm on heavy line into thick cover. Excellent rod all around

Recently purchased this rod and must say wow. Super light and well balanced. Makes flipping all day a breeze. Also can dub in a pinch as a frog rod. Plenty of power to flip 1.5oz yet so sensitive I could t believe the bites I felt. Definitely a must add to any arsenal!

This is the best rod I have ever used!
I use it for most fishing. The biggest problem with Dobyns is to buy it in Sweden.
I don’t use it for flipping Bass but for Walleyes and big Perch.
I am so happy that I spent the money to buy it, even if the price is much higher in EU.

Best flipping stick I’ve ever used Amazing sensitivity and balanced a real bass launcher able to boat flips seven pounders

This rod is the best flippin stick I’ve ever fished or played with! I like it so much that I have 4 of them and 1 DC 765FLIP!

I read far too many good reviews about this rod to pass it up. The first thing I noticed was how light it is for a 7’9″ rod. The balance is outstanding and that makes an all day outing easy on the wrist. I prefer to fish flouro over braid and the feel with this rod is exactly what I expected from this series. The fit, finish and cork is perfect. Great quality control. I would not hesitate to get this rod. It’s that good.

This is a bass’s worst nightmare. When flipping heavy cover or punching grass, the 795 not only has the power to make solid hook penetration but it has the back bone to pull bass from the thickest vegetation or cover you can hide a bass in. The tip action makes pitching, flipping, and punching effortless. The balance is so perfect that you can fish it all day with zero fatigue. I highly recommend this rod. If your serious about your flipping and punching, you need to do yourself a favor and gets your hands on a DX 795.

Love this rod! Balances incredibly well so I’m not fatigued after a long, fish filled day. Super sensitive with a light enough tip for when the fish just inhale the bait. Plenty of power to yank big fish out of heavy mats when punching without feeling like a broomstick. The action is a little bit more moderate than some other brands. I think that just makes it even better for short, no stretch line techniques. I’ve converted a lot of friends over from other rods to this stick. Once you try it, you’ll love it too.

Living in Florida, there is something to flip year round and I have fished probably 15 different flippin sticks over the years and broke most of them at one time or another. Without a doubt this is the lightest, strongest flippin stick I have ever touched. It is extremely versatile, from 1/4 oz to 1 3/4 oz, this is the first rod I pick up when fish are in shallow thick cover. It also has great sensitivity to boot!

Light weight and amazingly balanced to flip and punch all day without getting tired… Not to mention the incredible sensitivity that comes with these extreme rods!

By far a must have rod if you live anywhere in the South, especially Louisiana. This rod with its balance and tip will handle any flipping situation you can throw at it.

Best flipping stick I have ever used. Enough tip to flip and pitch down to about 3/16 but will handle punching 1.5 oz weights. I was reluctant to buy due to length (i am only 5’9″) but the balance is so great you hardly notice the length. Easy to flip all weights accurately all day with this one, and great sensitivity

The DX795C is the best flipping stick I have ever had in my hand. It is perfectly balanced, so you aren’t worn out at the end of the day from holding it. It has the perfect action to flip/pitch accurately, but enough power to pull fish out of the nasty stuff. And as always, it is crazy sensitive, as are all the Champion Extremes.

The 795 is by far my favorite Dobyn’s rod. We do a lot of flippin’ here on the Mississippi river and I was bragging to my buddy’s how awesome this rod was. My friend was heading to Falcon Lake for his 40th b-day and asked to borrow the rod for the trip. Needless to say it ended up being the only rod he used down there and it helped him land a 9+ pounder. He now owns 2 himself. Falcon Tested. Falcon approved!!!!
