Lite, balanced, sensitive and powerful. Not much else you can ask for in a bottom contact rod.

I traded in a few rods to get the DRX725 and I have to say it was a great move. This rod is way more versatile than I originally thought it would be. I fish a lot of grass lakes and I like a rod with some power behind it, but cool thing about this rod is the tip. It loads so well, I feel totally comfortable fishing a weightless fluke around heavy cover all the way up to dragging a 3/4oz jig in 40 feet of water. The sensitivity is unbelievable, balancing is perfect, and it’s stupid lightweight. I was hoping to get a great pitching stick (which it is) but I ended up with a lot more. Hands down my favorite rod. So so so much fun to fish with.

This is one of the most unbelievable rods I have ever used! It is lightweight and yet still balanced. This could be my new favorite Dobyns rod!

This has quickly become my favorite rod for T-rigs and jigs up to 1/2. The tip is perfect for longer pitches with very little effort. It’s also the lightest 7+ ft rod Ive ever had my hands on.
