Ryan Said –
What a rod! I use it for launching vibrating jigs on big flats for smallmouth, it is also an excellent rod for walking baits, especially “Jr.” size walking baits. I put 30lb braid on it and am able to make very long casts.
Landon –
I like how light the rod is for a 6 power cb rod but I think its to soft for chatterbaits in thicker grass you can’t hardly snap it like you need to.
Alan Besing –
Love this rod for any moving bait. It is a parabolic 70/30 bend with a tip that allows you to either launch baits over hand or slide them under limbs and obstacles with a roll cast. Has the backbone too get your bait back from heavy grass. I used it recently in FL for 3/8 and 1/2 oz chatterbaits, and 1/2 oz lipless and 1+ oz Scottsboro swimbaits rigged weedless with Owner Flashy Swimmer. I am getting 2 more because I enjoy throwing a variety of baits more on this rod than what I’d been using. I honestly have not thrown a spinnerbait on it but I have no doubt it would be absolutely perfect for 1/2 or so.. maybe 3/8 with 2 blades and a bulky trailer.
