I’m very impressed with how well this Rod feels in hand. Very balanced, very sensitive, very strong, and has a wonderful loading tip section. I’ve been working it with my Chatter Baits mostly, but also with my Lipless Cranks, Square Bills, spinner Baits, and trebled top waters. Man, this Rod is an absolute sleeper! I’ve fished with just about every series of Dobyns Rod all the way up to the Xtasy. While of course the more expensive Rods are generally lighter and more sensitive, this Rod is a winner in my book, especially for reaction baits. I haven’t tried bottom contact with the Rod as I have better Rods for that purpose. For throwing moving baits both trebled and single hooked, this thing is the business for under $100 bucks!

Great rod for the price. Versatile, I’ve used it for chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and swim jigs mainly. Personally also like it for jerks but I rarely throw them but when I do this rod gets it done. Also soft enough for some treble hook duty.

Really like how well rod is balanced. Great for fishing finese texas rig worms and small jigs. It’s always on the deck of my boat.
