This is my stick of choice for frogs. Great at punching too. Really well designed and a joy to use.

Awesome stick for tx rigging. It's enough to make you want a second one. The only thing that could improve it is a non closed loop hook keeper. A little YouTube study and swapping it out is pretty easy.

Great for throwing creature baits. It's my dedicated beaver bait stick specifically.

Crazy versatile, use it for 1/4oz swim jigs up to s waver 168s (1 5/8oz) and anything in between. Great backbone, great tip.

Love this rod. It’s a brute, indeed, but so well balanced that it feels like about a medium heavy. Just a pleasure to fish with, and versatile—works like a dream for heavier frogs, Gambler Big Ez on an eighth-ounce hook, pitching, and punching. Top third-ish gives way when you set the hook, so you don’t blow too big a hole in the fish’s mouth on a single-hook application. Like all my Dobyns, the Q...

This year I picked up a 736c and will probably buy a second 736c before year end .  To my surprise casting distance was not an issue even with a lighter 3/8 jig/trailers. Sensitivity with a 1/2 or 3/4 lipless crankbaits exceeded my expectation. The 736c can handle all my baits from 3/8 to to 1 1/4 oz (Lake Fork Spoons, Jigs, lipless, Swimbaits, Alabama Rigs). I'm in my 70s and sought a ...

When I started to buy Champion XP Casting Rods I was looking for a better jig rod.  I started with the 744c and ended up buying four 744c over 4 years to throw football jigs, chatterbaits, spinbaits,  hard and soft baits between 1/4 to 5/8.oz. The rods did it all.  I bought three 735c rods in the last two years for jig fishing as I found I was getting much better hook sets with swim jigs, football...

This 766 rod is amazing, I fished with it this weekend for the first time. Throwing it in heavy grass with a 1oz weight and it perform flawlessly. First fish was 6lbs 12oz and I was able to get that fish out of heavy Kissimmee grass in 5ft of water no problem. Fishing South Central Florida you better get good at flipping and pitching if you want to catch big bass. Other than that offshore shell be...
