Warranty Info

All GSM Outdoor products have a warranty that covers manufacture defects of the product. Like most industries, our warranty is valid only for the original owner of the product purchased from an authorized retailer. Please refer to your individual product for specific warranty time frames. Below are the general warranty times for all of GSM Outdoor products. At GSM Outdoors, our customers are our number one priority and we want them to know we stand proudly behind every item bearing our name. Tampering with or altering the unit will void the warranty. Any unauthorized service will void the warranty. Original sales receipt must be produced for any warranty service and a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained from customer service at 877-269-8490 prior to returning the product.

This Dobyns 742sf is my favorite rod for fishing small swimbaits and the tinsel tail jigs for bass & walleye. Dobyns Rods have the sensitivity needed to feel the bite if it's just a pressure bite or a classic tick . After 65 years of fishing every rod on the market ! Dobyns Champion Extreme are the rods i spend my money on , money well spent! Tight lines

I always have this rod on my deck. My partner and I won our first boat this season and this rod did most of the work for me. I use it for everything from jerkbaits to drop shots. Great sensitivity and you will be happy to have the light weight after a whole day of jerking a stick bait!

Love all of my Champion Extreme spinning rods, I have a 702,743 and this 764. I reach for the 764 most of the time, the extra length helps in casting and it will fish finesse baits and heavier applications without a hitch. People will try to tell you to get the DX742— don’t do it. This is the ultimate drop shot rod, vertical presentation as well as target casting around docks or cover, it’ll out performer the 742 at that. I’ve thrown senkos, hair jigs, spider grubs, 1/4 and 3/8 drop shots, small swimbaits, all without issue on this rod. Super sensitive as you would expect from any Dobyns rod. Superb balance.
