Swimbaits were always a thorn in my side, when they got over an ounce and a half. I never owned the proper setup until I got the Fury 795SB. For $119 it is unreal the value you get for the price. It’s perfect for throwing 6-inch Hudds and other similar style baits. I also use it for glide baits over 1 ounce and it works great. The load is awesome and after trying a few other brands (during trips with buddies) I firmly believe this rod stands up to many $250 plus rods on the market.

3rd rod from the furry lineup I own. Ended up buying this to throw a rigs on and quite truthfully this thing is a monster for them. Loads well on casts and keeps the big girls pinned. The first time I ever seen one of these rods my friend stuck a 8lber off a point with a rig. He let me throw it around and I fell in love with furry rods to begin with. Although it wasn’t my first one I ended up with the 795 is still one of my more used rods. Throws glides quite well and a rigs even better. I’ve even drug Huddleston 68’s on it no problem, wanna throw a 9” ms slammer. Heck this rod does it too. Love the way the rod loads when casting and let’s you really get them big baits out there.

I got more into umbrella rig fishing last year and I was hesitant on buying this rod because did I really need it and I absolutely am glad I did. I’ve caught so many more fish and been straining a lot less because of this rod. It’s a fantastic rod at a great price point.

It got me through a variety of Swim-baits.
Easy to launch:
Slammer, Defcon, Bull Wake, MONKAS, Or anything up to 3 oz. I toss a Sherpa Gill but at times feel an 806 might be better. But besides SB The 795 is what Mike Bucca calls his most versatile rod and I think he’s right, I think you could also get away with small glides. With braid it’s pretty sensitive. Mono as well.

Excellent for any bait your throwing in that 1-3 ounce range. Love it for smaller A-Rigs and top hook swimbaits like the 6-8 inch Huds.

This is the Perfect rod for swimbaits in the 1-3 oz range. 6inch hudds. Small to mid size glidebaits. Smaller weedless swimbaits. And A-rigs too. Any type of swimbait you have between 1-3 oz i would highly suggest this rod.anything above 3 oz and it starts to overload. For the price you can’t beet it. Great value
