DRX 724C heavy.. I paired it up with an abu zenon.. have the champion series and one champion extreme.. these are all great rods..
However this is hands down the best of dobyns..
I use this one for tx rig worms spinnerbaits.. but it could do a lot more..
Says heavy I think of it as a mh. Super light and sensitive.. never thought I’d spend this $ but worth every penny. Yes there are other high end rods out there but the sensitivity and durability is why I choose Dobyns. Never had one fail on me yet… main reason I bought it is fatigue and you can fish all day with this. Light as a feather. 5/5

Phenomenal rod and one of my favorite out of 20+ Dobyns rods. This rod is so sensitive yet so versatile and light!

Impressed!! This rod is incredibly light for a heavy power rod. The load is phenomenal…was throwing a 3/8 spinner bait in the shallow grass edge with a different high end rod that was suppose to be for spinner baits and blades jigs and was not happy with my hookup ratio. Tied the same spinner bait on this 724 and haven’t lost a fish yet. Several dozen over the last couple days and a few over 6 pounds. The rod load is absolutely remarkable. LOVE the way this thing loads up. I have complete confidence in its ability to keep the fish pinned, not to mention its a gorgeous rod. Well done is all I can say. I have a 754 that I tied a similar spinner bait on and let my bud that never fishes use it and he was pinning them good to. Again, great job. Let me add, I bought this rod from Gary himself at his shop a few months back…gotta drop in there if given the chance. True southern hospitality.
