The 795 SB/MT is a great swimbait and ARIG rod like other reviews mentioned, but this rod is awesome when fishing magnum flutter spoons. The 7’9″ length, mh power, and fast action of this rod allows you to cast the flutter spoon a mile and doesn’t wear you out while doing it. It has plenty of power for ripping the spoon off the bottom while working the bait and for driving those big treble hooks home on the hook set. The tip of the rod has just enough give to keep those fish buttoned up once they are hooked. This rod has paid for itself 10 times over in tournament winnings while catching big ones throwing the magnum spoon and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Not only is this a great swimbait rod but it is the only rod I use for A-rigs/ umbrella rigs. The long handle really helps with fatigue and gives the angler leverage to throw the big baits and rigs. The sensitivity allows you to feel the lightest strike but still has the backbone to haul in the giants. My partner and I won a tournament on Kentucky lake with 35.31lbs in March 2014. Every fish was caught using this 795MT rod. Thanks to all the guys at Dobyns for this awesome rod!!

I love this rod for my big baits like swims and big top waters. My only wish is it had a little more give on the tip of the rod but that’s only because I use a lot of big swim baits with treble hooks. Great stout rod with massive amounts of power to land those monster bass
