This is my new favorite rod and I can’t believe I used to fish something else for Texas rigged Senkos. Finally took it out last night to do some night fishing and the sensitivity is incredible! The bites were so subtle last night and only missed one out of 3 but that was because I tried setting the hook so quick. She’s broken in now with a 4 pounder landed and some smaller grade fish. Super accurate. I see some other reviews talking about using it for topwater so I will definitely give that a try. I’ve been so obsessed on BFS with my Dobyns SUF 740C that I haven’t been fishing anything else. Thank you Dobyns for continuing to make quality rods I can count on and such a quick delivery. Just ordered the DC 746CB for crankbaits and cant wait to try that out.

Light/moderate jigs, swim jigs, medium cranks, most spinnerbaits, t-rigs, 120-130 size jerkbaits. It can do a lot pretty well

finally got the 763 out for some action. This rod shines for lighter (1/8-1/4) swim jigs, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. It really loads up well with lighter swim jig and the added length and tip allow for long casts and control of fish. I plan to try it for some light carolina rig action when the time is right.

This a great rod for Carolina rigging, dragging tubes or jigs, senkos, spinnerbaits, it’ll do almost anything related to soft plastics and do it well! I primarily use this rod for tubes and flukes, but when do I throw a Carolina rig on rocky points I do it with this rod. I know I can trust it, the length gives me the ability to fight fish in any condition, and the rod picks up even the slightest little nibble. I can’t imagine there being much that I wouldn’t use this rod for.
