I have been on the search for a bladed jig rod for 4 years and have bought all the upper end rods , loomis, shimano, poisen adrena, evergreen, daiwa, none of them compare as a whole rod, I mean they all do 1 or 2 things really good but really suck at another, my buddy Brian Shoock outta GA put a dobyns in my hands and it does it all from sensitivity to the tip to backbone to balance , the 735 glass is the total package for bladed jigs up to 3/4 , then the 736 cbglass takes the cake when moving up to 1.250 Oz for off shore. I have no complaints other than I wish they were made in a split grip. But rest assured they grip doesn’t hurt my fishing just preference. I have since switched most all my rods over to dobyns. Thanks team dobyns,

I love this rod and it just fit my needs exactly. It is PERFECT for chatter baits and crank baits up to and including the 6XD. I have a 705 CB Glass and a 805 CB so this rod is the perfect fit in my rod selection and I just can’t help but love the Glass rods. I fish braid so I like the Glass and this rod is so Good I am considering the 736 CB Glass to replace the 805 CB and would do it but I am afraid of giving up a little distance. If you like to fish chatter baits this is the rod I had a 765 CB Glass but replaced it with this rod and have never looked back. Gary recommended it and he was dead on. It is a heavier power than the 705 CB Glass but a little less than the 805 CB. Great rod!!

God bless Gary and his staff. As a full-time guide buying, only the best gear made is mandatory. Over the past 15 years, the only rods you would find in my boat were G Loomis and St. Croix legends. After accepting the challenge of a customer who dared me to compare my rods to the Dobyns XP Champion series rods, I have a confession. These are not only the lightest, most sensitive, best-designed rods I have ever put my hands on, they are the only rods that you will find on my boat. I promise you, these rods will make you a better fisherman, yes, they are really that good. You can feel every blade of grass, rocks, bumping brush, and you will actually feel the bass sucking in a crankbait, or picking up your jig. One thing that I really appreciate is the fact these rods are each designed for a specific purpose, and each rod excels in those areas. If you have been on a quest to find the best bass fishing rods made, look no further.
