The best spro 50 squarebill rod for the money. I truly love this rod. It loads up so well and it just flat out keeps the fish on while you bring them in. I didn’t think a glass rod would make that big of a difference, boy was I wrong. You won’t be disappointed if you buy one. Truly and incredible rod.

If you need to throw a Dee bait on a windy day you know what a challenge that can be. I paired the 704 cb Glass with an older model Shimano Chronarch MG 50 and 15 lb braid and simply stated I have the best lightweight crankbait rod on the market. I can’t see not having this rod on your deck if you throw small light cranks or small spinnerbaits.

This is THE rod for throwing those smaller lighter crankbaits like Bandit 200s and 300s. The soft glass tip loads perfectly and flings the bait with little to no effort! Don’t let the soft tip fool you into thinking small baits is all it can do! It can handle half oz traps like a Champ! (Pun intended). After a week spent up in Lake Geneva doing nothing but ripping jerkbaits I’m sold that this rod is an absolute BEAST with jerkbaits. I threw everything from a Pointer 78 to a Staysee 90 to a Vision 110 and we did some damage!!!

When I first got this rod several years ago I was sceptical about it’s ability to land big fish right out of the package. From the first fish I was hooked on this rod and will never throw another jerk rod for vision 110 style baits. This rod will cast those bait a mile and the tip lets the bait work like it should. I will never go without this rod on the deck of the boat. biggest fish landed so far is 8.9lbs. Thanks Dobyns team for the best jerk rod on the planet!

If you throw a V-Bee, Lil Bee or similar lightweight balsa flat sided crank, shad rap, DT 6, etc., this rod is THE ROD for those baits. The tip aid in flinging the lightweight balsa baits all day. However, the backbone is enough to move fish when you lean into them. Rod also excel with the KVD 1.0, LC .5’s and other light weight baits. 3/16-1/2oz can be fished on this rod. You can also work light weight poppers. However, as mentioned this rod is the best I have ever picked up for those lightweight balsa baits I throw in the spring and fall and anytime I am chunking a DT-6.

The best rod ever made for a Bandit 100, 200, and 300. If you throw smaller crankbaits, this is the rod to buy. They cannot throw the hooks.

The perfect umbrella rig rod. The right tip to keep you from ripping the hooks loose, long handle to help you cast the rig all day without fatigue, the length to make long casts, and the backbone to hook them at the end of your casts. Great for what it was made for, a carolina rig. I’ve used a flutter spoon on it too. Versatile rod with length.
