Introducing the new Dobyns 8-pack cull buoys! These have a unique design with a stainless steel spring load for one handed operation and a non-penetrating clip to keep a fish on without causing harm. Each set contains eight distinct colors that will cover any tournament situation. They have large visible numbers to significantly reduce culling time. Clips are color coordinated with the buoys and designed for maximum durability.

Finally a Cull Buoy that is easy to use and works. I have been using them for the last 3 tournaments and they are by far the best I have ever used. Simple 1 hand installation and removal, they hold the fish safely and very well, and with the clip they attached to bottom side of the metal around the livewell for easy access. I can easily lift the fish by the cull buoy and place the fish inside the bag and while holding the bag with one hand remove the cull buoy with the other. I have lost fish before trying to do this in the back of the boat when still on the lake because I did not have time to load up first before. Can’t say enough good things about these buoys.

I’ve been using these Champion Cull tags almost since the day they came out, and wanted to wait till I had a fair amount of use on them before I wrote a review…. These things are awesome! I think I have used just about every brand of cull tag that’s ever been on the market. They have all either broke or rusted out so bad they couldn’t be used. The way these things are built makes me think that won’t be a problem with these. The clips are great and can be used easily with one hand. I have never had a fish come off one of the clips in the livewell and will lift them out by the tag with confidence the clip will hold… these things are stout! I’ve also not seen any evidence of the clip irritating the fish’s mouth or causing them to be stressed out. The cables are long enough that the floats won’t pull them to the surface even in the deepest livewells, and they will not tangle with the other tags in the livewell. I was also interested to see how they balance since I still use a beam instead of a scale and they were all very consistent in weight. If you do use a scale, each float is numbered and colored so they’ll interface with any culling system you currently have…. These are a great buy! Well done Dobyns!

Finally got to give my new Dobyns Cull Buoys a try today. There wasn’t tournament, just a break from work, a badly needed day on the water, and time to play with a new product.
There are eight cull buoys in the carton, so no matter what the bag limit is, you’ll have plenty of tags.
Caught three spots today and used them to do a couple of tests.
The Dobyns Cull buoys are lighter and smaller than my old Ardent Accu-cull ball system. While the Dobyns clips are similar in design, they are much easier to attach with one hand and won’t let go. I seriously doubt any fish can get one of these clips off.
I’ll have to report back as durability and longevity, so far. I like them.

THE BEST Cull Buoys on the market. I purchased these because a friend recommended them to me.
couldn’t be happier, they are so easy to use. The fish won’t come off and I’m saving time this year while
fishing tournaments.

Best non-piercing cull tags I’ve ever used. Numbered so it’s easy to input weight in scale, and easy one handed use is a plus. Have yet to have a fish twist off while pulling out of the livewell like I have with every other brand I’ve tried. Can’t go wrong with these.

Work excellent and the best part is no holes in the fish’s mouth. Have used quite a few different brands that operate on the same principle of no puncture but every time you go to grab the fish by the buoy it pulls off the fish’s mouth. These do not do that and make the exchange in my livewell much easier. Best cull buoy hands down

FINALLY!!!! A clip-on culling tag system that doesn’t come loose!!! I’ve used every other (literally) clip culling tag’s made trying to find one that didn’t come loose in the livewell and FINALLY found one!!! Alot of thought was put into these!!! Great job Dobyns!!!!

Very effective one handed operation, color coded and numbered to make it easy with any culling system, and the non-penetrating clip provides easy, one handed operation

There are an awful lot of cull bobbers out there and these work the best by far! Glad I finally found a great set!

Have put these cull buoys to use this year and so far am very impressed. They hold the fish well and don’t come undone when taking fish out of the livewell. The edges of the clips are very sharp, so I used a Dremel to take down the edges so they don’t slice the fishes lips.
