Started bass fishing at 10 years old and turned to competition at age 19. Joined various clubs and the BASS Nation, earning 8 State Team appearances and competing in 3 BASS Nation National Championships. You can say that I am just like you – working my way along the best I can with the best equipment I can get. Thanks to a Dobyns 705 CB and my favorite squarebill, I qualified for the Bassmaster Classic in 2011. Now I compete primarily in the Bassmaster Opens and do seminars around the east coast. Adrian Smiley returned to competitive fishing six years ago locally. He began co-angling on BWS and BASS Central Opens. In his last five BASS Central Opens, fishing as a co-angler, Adrian earned a top 10, top 25 and was Co-Angler Champion of the 2011 Central Open #2 on the Arkansas River in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
